It’s been quite a day and my eyes are about to close because I feel so drained. I like the idea of Shabbat and how it’s supposed to be a sort of mini-vacation from regular life. I do a terrible job of celebrating Shabbat, but I do want to change that.
So, for this first Shabbat of 2018, I’m sharing two of my favorite excerpts from a couple of siddurim. I love the prayer books in Reform Judaism because it not only contains the liturgy, but it also has poems and reflections that you can wander through, which is great for someone like me who sometimes has a hard time focusing. Shabbat Shalom!
