The Potential

Friday was a turning point. The support and love I’ve gotten from the congregation and the wider community has been amazing. I’m now seeing how powerful words can be and how important it is to speak out, despite my own fears.

I could not have written this d’var Torah a year ago. I was too angry with the community, too hurt to effectively relay my experiences. The JewV’nation Fellowship has been a formative experience and I am grateful every day that I applied.
