Day 287

I’m representing my grad school program on a student delegation mission to Israel next month. A lot of people have expressed concern to me, especially since I’m pregnant, which I understand. However, it feels even more important to travel there now, especially since I’m carrying a future member of the Tribe. Israel holds a special place in my heart and I wouldn’t be making this trip if I was scared. I mean, a tiny part of me is scared, but it’s important to me to take this trip and I am grateful to have the opportunity to do that, plus my fiancee is supporting me in this.
