Day 285

I went with my fiancee tonight to watch his daughter in a performance of The Nutcracker. As I’ve mentioned before, she attends the same elementary school that I did and, coincidently, I was also in The Nutcracker during my time there. I really enjoyed it; it was a remix of the original, which was super fun and everyone loved it. Again, it was strange sitting in the same auditorium where my mom sat and watched me perform. I teared up for a moment during the performance thinking about that and how much everything has changed. There was also an adorable baby girl in front of us and it struck me that this time next year, I’ll also have a little one. Life is pretty amazing sometimes.
