Life Of An Archivist

I’m currently working on the new exhibit, which means that I’ve been on the hunt for weird and random things in the archives. I’ve found lots of treasures, as well as items that are WTF-worthy. I’ve also noticed that I’ve been getting lost in some of the scrapbooks, because my experiences today are so different than that of a white Jewish person in the 1960s. It’s also pretty trippy finding things like a handwritten letter from LBJ and an elaborate sterling silver matzah holder.
