Strength And Courage

Last year I was sexually assaulted. I made it very public by posting an entry, where I also revealed that I was sexually assaulted as a child by a family member. The #MeToo movement has brought this to the forefront of society and empowered women and sexual assault survivors and I hope it truly makes a difference. For this reason, I’m posting Aly Raisman’s powerful testimony against the doctor who took advantage of her and countless others.

May we all have the strength and courage to confront wrongdoing and speak up for those who can’t or are too afraid. Shabbat Shalom!
