Another Reality

I sort of cheated and instead of finishing the VR viewer I started on Saturday, I ordered Google Cardboard. In my defense, my mom accidentally threw away the pieces I had already made and I didn’t feel like digging through the recycling bin in the dark.

DUDE. It is SO COOL. I’ve played around on on a few apps and just finished a “walking tour” of Jerusalem. My mind is already spinning from the possibilities. I’d love to have enough of these to use with my fourth graders.

I’ve been noticing lately that I’m really happy when I’m tinkering around with something or building something. It combines two of the things I love most: being creative and using my brain in interesting ways.

So, for my next project, I’m planning on playing around with circuit stickers and trying some of the stuff on Chibitronics.
