Day 321
It feels like six weeks worth of experience was crammed into the last three days. Today was slightly less packed but still intense. We heard from Achim Laneshek/Brothers and Sisters in Arms, an NGO that started as a protest movement against Netanyahu’s judicial reforms and transformed into a huge network of resources working to help those who have been displaced by the war. We also heard from the family of a hostage still being held in Gaza and walked around Kikar Ha’Hatufim/Hostage Square observing all of the artwork dedicated to the hostages. We ended with a reflection session and dinner. I’m glad I came and grateful this opportunity came up. I’ll have more to say in the coming days as I continue processing.
I’m staying for a couple of more days and plan to rest and soak in Jerusalem before heading home.
