Day 291

I saw my psychiatrist today. I told him about how excited I am to become a mom, but how I also wished my mom was here. I also mentioned that I’ll be getting married four days before the first anniversary of her death and he said he was sure that she was happy for me and would rather me be celebrating such a momentous life event. I’ve come a long way in the 13+ years that I’ve known him and I know Mom was and would be really proud of me for that.
