Day 230

You get a summary of my day in bullet points. 

• Woke up, could barely talk, and felt dizzy. 
• Contemplated going into work anyway, realized that was dumb, and went back to sleep. 
• Slept most of the day. 
• Had strange dreams. 
• Started calling for Mom softly at one point and then cried. 
• My fiancée went out, brought home chicken soup, and coaxed me into eating. 
• He also cleaned up after Maxine had an accident and took her out several times. 
• Realized for the millionth time how lucky and grateful I am to have him in my life. 
• I’m in our bedroom typing this out while he’s watching the Rangers/Astros game and I love the life that we’re making together. It’s so much better than anything I ever imagined. 
• I think Mom knew she could leave me and I’d be okay and maybe she’s been pulling some strings while she’s been up there, wherever she is right now.
