Day 68

It has been a long day of travel. I am currently in Washington, DC for a board meeting, which will be followed by meetings with my representative and senator’s office to lobby for climate change reform.

Between turbulence on both flights and an hour delay on my flight from DFW to Dulles and the (maybe) two hours of sleep I got, I’m totally exhausted. I’m thankful I have these opportunities to travel, but it seems like this trip has really sapped me of energy. That might be due to the grief, which I’m learning affects every facet of my being every single day in ways I don’t expect.

As soon as I get to the hotel, I’m eating, finishing a paper for school, and then relaxing.
