T-Minus Four Days

There are lots of scenarios running through my head right now and all of them are related to the potential reactions of the congregation after I give my d’var Torah on Friday. I’m honestly not sure if I’m excited, scared, or a mix of both. I’m generally not all that confrontational and I tend to not get into discussions related to controversial topics at work unless I know it’s a safe space.

I’m also a little concerned about what happens after I speak. Do we continue these conversations in an informal way or should this be an official congregational initiative? I prefer the latter, but I’m not sure what will come of this.

I just hope there is some positive change.
