On The Act Of Falling

Sometimes you take a risk

Sometimes it works out

And when it does, you want to do more

You work hard

You make the difficult choices

You try to be positive

And you take more risks

And you take more leaps of faith

And even when you stumble

It still feels worth it

 But sometimes you take a risk

And it doesn’t work out

And you wonder what the point was

You don’t want to make another mistake

You’re afraid to make another leap

Because what if you fall?

What if you find yourself back at the start?

Do you try again

Do you

just

stop

trying?
