Day 78
I always used to get in trouble when I was younger because I always had a book at the table while I ate dinner. My mom tried her best to get rid of that habit, but eventually she must have decided that a kid who loved to read that much was better than any alternative and she left me alone. I tend to re-read books that I adore and feel a deep connection with, so today you get a list of some of those books.
- The Bell Jar, Sylvia Plath
- White Oleander, Janet Fitch
- The Egypt Game, Zilpha Keatley Snyder
- The Firm, John Grisham
- The Name of the Game Was Murder, Joan Lowery Nixon
- Speak, Laurie Halse Anderson
- Catherine, Called Birdy, Karen Cushman
- The Handmaid’s Tale, Margaret Atwood
- All of the Harry Potter books, J.K. Rowling
