Day 77

Have you ever felt like something was missing from your life? I’ve been feeling like that a lot lately and while I think I might have found something that could fill the void (at least part of it), it’s been frustrating trying to integrate it into my life.

You know what I’ve noticed about my life lately? Somehow I almost always choose the path or choice less taken. Examples: pursuing a second Masters, converting to Judaism, etc. Those unconventional choices have paid off greatly, even if I question them from time to time, but my predilection for taking the obscure path of life does make me feel incredibly lonely sometimes.

I suppose I could try to take the conventional path as demonstrated by my peers, but what do you do when you’ve never felt like you fit in with your generation?

I march to my own beat. Whether or not that’s a good thing remains to be seen.
