Day 67

Today is International Women’s Day. It is also the latest demonstration from the resistance, “A Day Without A Woman.” I didn’t stay home from work, because I love my job too much (see also: paycheck) but I did wear red in solidarity. It still boggles my mind that in 2017, women still earn less than men, are still underrepresented in several industries, and still fighting to get the respect we deserve. Pair those facts with the frightening bomb threats inundating JCCs and ADL offices, plus the current fiasco engulfing the White House and Congress, and it is more important than ever to raise our voices.
