Day 355

I spent this evening helping to clean the archives and it was really interesting. There’s just so much significant history in Temple’s story that many people don’t know. It definitely got my imagination going on how the archives could partner with YL+E and how to publicize the collection in unexpected ways.

The past several days I’ve been preoccupied with a DIY music box kit I got and I realized how much I love stuff like that. Anything that takes intense concentration in order to create something while also being creative makes me so happy. I felt like that in the archives tonight and I always feel like that when I’m doing a new bulletin board display or working in the teacher resource room.

Creativity is definitely something I’m going to try to focus on more in the new year.
