Third Day of the Omer

The trial of ex-police officer Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd started yesterday. My mom was watching the news last night, when that infamous video was played. I couldn’t turn it off fast enough.

Today I came across a news article that left me short of breath. It had never occurred to me that there were minors who witnessed George Floyd’s murder. A nine-year-old testified today.
