Day 161

I’m exhausted. This not getting enough restful sleep thing is really annoying. I just don’t really understand what’s going on. 

I submitted my mom’s name for the Book of Remembrance for Yom Kippur a couple of days ago. Mom was transferred to the care home a few days before Rosh Hashanah last year and I keep thinking about that. The year before I missed erev Rosh Hashanah services because my mom had to go to the emergency room. I’m going to put it into the universe that 5784 will have a more joyful, or at least hopeful, beginning.
