A Jumble of Thoughts

• I found a gray hair this morning.
• I’ve been listening nonstop to Motown and that makes me happy.
• I broke down yesterday afternoon and cried because of Judy’s death and the realization that she wasn’t that much younger than my mom.
• In order to block out some unwanted thoughts, I’ve just been immersing myself in exhibit preparations.

I’ve found myself thinking about my grandma a lot lately. It’s been almost 21 years since she died. When I used to think about her, I would cry and wish she was still here. Now that I’m older and after a bit of life experience, I can remember her without crying and that is a gift.
