Day 186
When I was a kid, I slept like a rock. One time, while attending a lock-in at a roller rink, someone literally skated over me as I slept and I didn’t even wake up.
High school introduced me to the joys and curse of insomnia. College and grad school only exacerbated my insomnia but somehow I managed to make it through.
When I started my first full-time job, I had to start sleeping like a normal person. As I’ve gotten older, I find that I much prefer going to bed earlier and getting up early.
This is a really roundabout way of saying that I had two hours of sleep last night and I’m running on caffeine and I can’t wait to get home and collapse onto my bed.
