Hanukkah – Night Six
Since I first started working in the Jewish communal service field, it’s been clear to me that this my career track. I couldn’t tell you why, I just knew. That’s how I ended up in jobs completely unrelated to my fields of study. I can’t really explain to you how comforting it is for me to work at my synagogue.
I live in two very different worlds: Temple and the Jewish community and home with my mom. When one of those worlds becomes too overwhelming, I have the other to run to and that means everything to me. I don’t prefer one over the other and each world provides just what I need. I know that I’m very lucky to have this and I am truly grateful.
Here’s to keeping the lights burning bright in both worlds.
