Day 279

Hanukkah starts tomorrow. I’m excited because my new moose menorah came in today (yay!), but I’m also a little apprehensive. Hanukkah was so lonely last year. While my mom never actively lit the candles with me, she would often watch and she looked forward to seeing what new menorah I got every year. Last year was just me lighting the candles alone since my mom was in the care home, save for one night that I spent at a young adult event. I’m not totally sure what lighting the candles is going to look like this year, but I very much can’t wait until next year when I’ll be lighting the candles for my own little girl.
