Day 127
I often describe Mishkan T’filah as a prayer book you can wander through. Sometimes when I feel especially lost, I will flip through it during services, completely ignoring whatever is going on. It has modern interpretations of prayers, poems, quotes, etc. that can enhance a service, at least for me.
I was flipping through old pictures on my phone (again) and came across this:
Even though I’m struggling with letting go of my mom’s physical things, I do see parts of her everywhere now, especially in the people closest to me.
This prayer can open doors we may not have opened before.
