…and now we end with the eighth night.
It’s been a strange Hanukkah and an even stranger year. As much as I hated parts of the last several months, I will acknowledge that I’ve learned a lot about who I am and who I want to be. There are things that I wish I could change about this year and my actions, but on the whole, I can say that I’ve grown a lot as a person, friend, and daughter. I’ve learned how to ask for help more often and the pandemic has taught me a lot about the people who should and shouldn’t be in my life. I think the most important thing I finally understand is that we all have our ways of spreading the light, even if we’re not aware of it. Chag urim sameach!
