Day 219

I ended up sleeping over 12 hours last night. I’m just so tired and then I woke up to the news about the ongoing terrorist attacks in Israel. I’ve found that it’s hard to convey to some non-Jews how much I love Israel despite its flaws. Israel has definitely done things that I don’t agree with and there are times when I wonder if there’s even a place for me there if I ever need it, but it’s such an integral part of my Jewish identity. I can support Israel and condemn the awful things that have been done by various governments. I don’t know, my thoughts are just all over the place lately.
