Day 78

The fire alarm went off very early this morning and would only stop when I pushed the button. This also happened two months ago. I haven’t been sleeping well, so I was pretty frustrated and called the emergency maintenance line. Maintenance was backed up, so it took them a few hours to get here and tell me it was the low battery alert and they just replaced it. I nodded, thanked them, and they left.

When I was waiting for maintenance to get here, I just burst into tears and cried for at least ten minutes, begging the alarm to stop and crying for Mom. So, that’s my start to the weekend. Clearly I’m doing great with this whole coping and processing emotions in healthy ways thing.
